About the role
In this newly-created role, you will develop and execute strategies that encourage our students to progress between different study areas; including TAFE to Undergraduate, Undergraduate to Honours, Undergraduate to Postgraduate, and Undergraduate to TAFE.
Partnering with our Faculties and Departments, you will deliver effective cross-sell communication campaigns achieving strong cut through across multiple channels (primarily eDM and front-line staff).

Your strong writing skills will be put to use developing compelling cross-sell messaging, as well as strong product-oriented sales copy and support resources for front-line staff.
You will take an evidence-based approach to your work, using metrics to measure and improve response and conversion rates, communications channels, effectiveness of creative and campaign outcomes.
You will provide leadership and management to a Communications Officer, who brings a solid understanding of our existing channels and will help you get off to a great start.
About you
Enthusiastic, positive and personable, you will demonstrate understanding and application of best practice communication techniques, the ability to develop product-oriented sales copy and a desire to build strong working relationships.
Our work is heavily digital so you will have experience with eDMs, writing for the web, social media and understand the metrics that are so crucial to our success.
You’ll be familiar with the opportunities and challenges of working with an existing customer pool and the importance of strong stakeholder relationships.
Most importantly, you’ll be a strong team player, willing to admit when you need help and always ready to offer a hand when others around you need it.
This is an incredible opportunity for a talented communications leader who wants to join a youthful, challenger university with a lot of can-do spirit.
