30 March 2013 Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT) chief Andrew Giddy has advised staff that NMIT is looking at asset utilisation across its campuses and is likley to sell its outer suburban Greensborough campus and sell off "non-essential" facilities at its regional Ararat campus. The possible sale of Greensborough to a "private investor" would involve the relocation of students to other NMIT campuses in 2014 but could also potentially include a significant ongoing training delivery role for NMIT at the Greensborough site.
