Medical research grants announced

The Commonwealth government has awarded $42 million in new federal funding for medical research.  Around Australia 13 institutions received single grants of  $2.5 million, while the University of New South Wales and the Menzies School of Health Research at Charles Darwin University were awarded two each in a National Health and Medical Research Council funding round.
